The fact you can change several game rules by mods, enhance graphics like added SSAO and god rays is just like the final touch. Things that i dont like much is the current low variety on buildings, but this should be soon fixed by modding community. You have basically what we wanted for Simcity 5: same ideas and mechanics of Simcity 4, with 3D graphics, improved simulation and huge plots. With great mod support, and seamless integration into steam workshop, it will easily be much more moddable than SimCity 4 and will grown much more, much faster.
The game has all features and full 3D rendering to be the truly successor of Simcity 4. This is what was supposed to be Simcity 5.
The game is good, solid, and have zero breaking bugs, just minor bugs. There is not much to be said than what people and critics already said. You just need to create a game with passion, listen to your customers, and deliver a great game for a fair price. You don't need social media "experts", you don't need to spend more on marketing than a small African country.

There are no crashes, no glitches, no weird "we'll patch that out later" crap you find in nearly all new EA titles. The game looks slick, it feels optimised. For a game developed by just 9 people, this is an exceptional achievement. The fact it has strong mod support means this game will have legs and you'll get years of enjoyment from this game for frankly a tiny amount of money. If you loved Sim City 4 and want a game to consume your life.
